I'm back!

Hey everyone! I have been away from this blog for so long that I decided to post something just to let you know that I am alive!😸 I am a bit short on ideas right now, so can you comment some ideas below? (If there is no good ideas, that I will just post something about customizing nerf guns or binder-clip launchers.) Anyways, I hope you like (Insert Here)!

I wrote a book?!

Hi everyone! Once again, it has taken me a whole month to think of something to post about! Sorry for the wait...😿 So I was thinking, "Maybe they would like to  hear about the book I wrote!" The book is called Travel Log: Leviathan 8, and it is about my heroic adventures as the (cyborg) captain of a huge Leviathan. I travel around the world learning about the local cultures, and even fight an evil villain or two. As well as being educational, it is very exiting. I am thinking about publishing it very soon, so keep a look out for it is stores. There is also another book I'm writing, but it isn't finished yet and probably will take a long time to complete. Also, I'm going to have my birthday soon. I hope you like Vlogs!

I joined the Boy Scouts??!!

Hello! I am sorry that it has been so long! like what, a month now? So  the reason it has taken so long is because I have been busy with TWO robotics competitions! I was in the tech challenge with the Hamster Wheel, and in the MATE ROV competition with the Sea Raven. Unfortunately, my team lost both challenges.😿  Apart from the challenges, I joined the Boy Scouts! I did this because, aside from the camping and the badges, I think it will help me become a better person (Not saying I wasn't awesome before, I just think being a Boy Scout would be nice). So far, I would rate the experience a 9.5 out of 10. I have my own scout book, and scout neckerchief, and scout troop number, it is AWESOME! I have made some friends and learned the scout oath and motto, and I would highly suggest joining. I would tell you what troop number I am, but that would be a clue to my location. So anyway, I hope you like knots!

I have a YouTube channel?

Hi everyone! You remember my post where i said that you would have to wait a long time before I show you my face? Well, I decided that I should do it sooner and start a Vlog! 😸  Also, all the pictures on this blog have been taken by my dad's iPhone. So anyways, here is my channel:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbE-9SPX51enk_ASJZ47YlA. I hope you like sand!

Minecraft How To: Jungle House!

As any self-respecting Minecraft player knows, jungles are REALLY hard to build in, so most people just be lazy and build a tree house. It is possible, though, to build a jungle house on the ground. I have taught my friend Zach how to build a nice and simple jungle house, and his is the one we will be using for a model.
Part 1:
    Step 1: Frame
The frame is one of the most important part of the house. It defines the structure of the house. A good frame is made of logs of any type, though my personal favorite is spruce. Just place logs where you want the corners of the house to go, and connect them with different logs of your choice. The logs should go up 4 blocks, and then you place a wooden planks block on top before placing another 4 logs on top of that.
    Step 2: Floor 1
This is simple. just place jungle logs on the first layer, and the rest of the layers are jungle planks. Windows should be made out of glass panes, and surrounded by spruce logs.

    Step 3: Midsection
Place upside-down stairs connecting the spruce planks.

    Step 4: Floor 2
Put this floor on top of the midsection. Aside from that, it's pretty much the same as floor 1.

Part 2:
    Step 1: Stairs
This is the roof, the most tedious part of housebuilding. For layer one, place stairs wrapping the top of your house. Layer 2, 3, and 4 are also stairs, each one going in by one block.

    Step 2: Slabs
Place a slab on the inside of layer 4 to make layer 5. Place slabs in the same way you placed stairs, in and up one, for  layers 6 and 7. On 7, fill the roof in. You are now done building your jungle house! Anyways, I hope you like trees!

Sorry Everyone ;)

I am sorry, but I have had to delete the previous post about the Tech Challenge, because it contained information about my design that could possibly lead to people copying it. I hope you understand! 😸

Top 6 Coolest tech!

Hello everyone! I have not posted in a while because I had a cold, so I thought that I should write something extra cool! So today I have gathered some of the coolest technology that I could find.😸 And here it is!

#6: Maglev
Maglev technology was first used in the Maglev Trains, a new type of train that uses Magnetic Levitation to propel itself at speeds possibly faster than a plane. I decided on an image to show you how it works.

The fact that it is levitating makes it so there is no friction, thus almost nothing to slow it down. This makes the Maglev Train one of the fastest trains out there. I am relying on this idea to make hoverboards in the future.
==================================================================
#5: 3D Printers
3D printers are useful things, in the way that they can make just about anything out of plastic. I, sadly, don't have one.😿 A 3D printer builds an object by printing it from the bottom up, layer by layer, effectively turning a 3D object into lots of 2D layers.
==================================================================
#4: Cloning
Taking a slightly morbid turn, cloning is the process of duplicating genetic code in a life form. (Imagines clone army) Heh heh heh...  πŸ˜Ύ  πŸ˜ΌπŸ˜ΌπŸ˜ΌπŸ˜ΌπŸ˜ΌπŸ˜ΌπŸ˜Ό It is currently used to clone dogs for sad dog owners with dead dogs, but in the future might be used to clone humans. We could have a whole clone generation! Actually, that would be a bit creepy.
==================================================================
#3: Laser Keyboards
Coming close to holograms, these laser keyboards look like something out of a movie. I wrote a blog post on them, check it out! A lazer keyboard?

=======================================================
#2: VR Headsets
Virtual Reality Headsets are something everyone wants, the gaming device of the Future! Once again, this is a cool technology item that I do not have.😿  Basically, they are headsets that you put over your eyes so you can see whatever game you have loaded into them. It looks like you are inside the game!😺  It is usually accompanied by two controllers that tell the game where your hands are. Complex stuff.

=======================================================
#1: 7D Holograms
Right here is a 5.7 MegaWow video. This technology was developed by some rich businessmen, how they get all this money is beyond me.
============================================================
Anyways, that's the end of this post and I hope you like gaming!

Habitable planets found around a dwarf star!

Hi everyone! I have found something really epic.

Yup. I am sure that everyone saw that one. I am writing this post for the people who didn't click on it! I, myself, was curious. I hovered over it with my mouse until I got a tooltip. The tooltip said "NASA found 7 planets" or something like that.πŸŒŽπŸŒ‘πŸŒ• Wanting to find out more, I went on Twitter, went to NASA's profile, found their website, and looked around until I found out what I wanted to know. So here it is!
These planets are orbiting around a dwarf star named Trappist 1. Apparently, 3 of them are in the "Goldilocks Zone", a zone around stars where it is not to hot, and not to cold. This zone is perfect for life to grow.πŸŒ°πŸŒ±πŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸ”†πŸ’¦ Sadly, most of the animals there are probably single-celled or masses of slime. It is "Very Unlikely" that any intelligent life will be found there.πŸ‘½πŸ˜Ό Some theories say that the planets could lose their atmospheres due to their closeness to the small star they all revolve around. Other reasons why the planets might not host life is that the sun could produce intense radiation, killing all life there and doing terrible things to the environment.😿  BUT on a nicer note, maybe it is possible for life to survive after all!😸  For one, Nature can adapt very easily. We have seen that. To avoid solar flares, the planets could start out with a shell of hydrogen in their upper atmospheres that could get blasted off with the solar flares, leaving a clean oxygen-rich atmosphere behind. And, it is possible for the planets to have magnetic fields like Earth, deflecting the radiation. So there is still a chance for alien life! πŸ‘½πŸ˜Έ  Anyways, I hope you like UFO's!

How To: Cloakmaking -Part Two

Thank you for being patient. A blog post as long as this one and that one combined would take hours to write. Also, this part is optional, so do whatever you like. Anyways, let's start Step 1: Fold the top  of the collar (the shorter end) down and pin it in place. Sew it up in 2 horizontal lines so that a kind of odd tube is formed, and then take the pins out.

Step 2:This is the fun part. You need to use a crochet needle to pull some yarn through the hole. The yarn, depending on your neck size, should be cut 3 to 5 inches longer than the collar on each side.

At this point, I ran out of materials to make the hood. I personally recommend wearing the cloak over a hooded jacket to make the hood. If you have a sacrificial hooded jacket, you can cut the hood off and sew it on to the cloak. Anyways, here's a picture of me wearing my full Dark Mage outfit:
I think it's finally done! Anyways I hope you enjoyed the post, and I hope you like Arcane Powers!

How To: Cloakmaking -Part One

(Assisted by James S. and Ellwyn S.)
Hi everyone! Today we have a particularly epic How To on cloakmaking! Now I know that you have missed the how-tos, so this one will be a very big one. Anyways, on to Step 1: Pin the sides of the Fabric  in place so that you cut it without loosing the desired shape.
Step 2: Cut the fabric on the pinned sides so that you get the desired shape. Keep the long triangular pieces of fabric for the hood (Optional).
Step 3: Place the Second Piece of Fabric  on the ground, and put the first on top. The first piece of fabric will act as a template. DO NOT FORGET TO PIN!
Step 4: Cut the 2nd piece of fabric so it matches the first. Keep the pins on, so you can sew it together later.
Step 5: Fold the bottom edge so that the first piece covers the second.
Step 6: Sew the cloak up, make a hole, and turn inside out.
Anyway, that's the end of Part One. Part Two coming soon!

The Surprise

You asked for it and you got it: The Surprise!😸 The surprise in this case, in fact, is the Camo Challenge! This challenge was made so that I could get in touch with more of you. πŸ˜ΊπŸ˜€I believe that I should get to know more of you, and I thought it could be fun to do so in a nice little challenge! So what are you waiting for! Check it out!😺

A lazer keyboard?

We are so close to the 1000 pageview goal!😸 Anyway, once again I have found something while surfing the web. And once again, it is incredibly futuristic. The cool thing i found this time is, as you might have seen from the title, a Laser Keyboard. A thumbsUp! Laser Keyboard to be precise. I was immediately intrigued and delved a little deeper into the fathomless depths of the internet and found out that the laser keyboard is actually very useful! It can be connected to the computer through Bluetooth or USB and has a touchpad option, though the touchpad can be a bit glitchy. Of course, every rose has thorns, and like that, every bit of tech has downsides. One of those is that it dims and locks down the keyboard after 10 seconds of idleness to save battery power. To unlock it you just tap on it, but this can be annoying. Another downside is that it requires you to take your fingers off of one key before it can register another key. This means that it takes a nano longer to type stuff down. In total, I think it is a cool design that could use a nano improvement, but is really useful. Anyway, I hope you like lasers!

I am living with a killer...

Recently, a new addition has been brought into the house.

Meet SeaFoam. Isn't it cute?😸 SeaFoam is a giant water bug, measuring 2.5 inches long. I found it at the beach upside down and wounded. The reason I say it instead of him or her is that I haven't found out the gender yet. It apparently has one of the most painful bites ever. Yeah. Why do i have this thing... 😹 So anyway, I hope you like venom!

A new Leviathan!!??

Who here remembers Levvie the Leviathan? If you do, than you remember that it was very big. But,  while it has taken a while, i have finally finished my biggest and awesomest creation, Levi the Leviathan!
Levi is much, much, bigger than his predecessor, Levvie. He also has a gondola hanging from him like on a blimp. This time, i added less human DNA, so his features are less humanoid. I thought about using shark DNA like last time, but whales are bigger so i used whale DNA. How about i show you the inside of the gondola!

This is the interior of the gondola. But wait, there's more! How about the interior of Levi!

Now this is all good, but what if you crave adventure or want to sleep somewhere without other passengers bothering you. Well if you pay, you can sleep in the Ultra First Class room-on top of the Leviathan!

Dosen't that make you want to get a ride on a gasbag and fly up there? It is cool, but it is a private world  for me and my friends only. it is, admittedly, dangerous. But anyway, i hope you like ballrooms!

I am entering in the Tech Challenge!

Hi everyone! I am writing this post to tell you about my entry in the tech challenge! I am going to make a bridge-bot, which is a robot that is designed to cross gaps. It does so by unrolling itself into a bridge, connecting to the other side, and rolling itself back onto the other side. With this method, it gets to the other side without leaving any of itself behind. It also allows it to form a bridge, so that trucks full of stuff might go across. A highly efficient method, say, for transporting tech across gaps in the surface of mars. If my team does good in this challenge, it would help me get my dream job and complete my life plan!😸  Anyway, I hope you like wheels!

(I will give updates on this as it happens.)

Has Genetic Engineering gone farther than you think?

Recently I was looking for new things to blog about, when i found this thing:

Now some of you might have heard about this, but this Dragomeleon (Dragon\Chameleon) is actually a genetically modified Umbuku Lizard, believed to be a distant relative of the Pterodactyal. They actually had the wings lying dormant in their DNA! Made on Zimbabwe, there are only 6 of these in the world. They are currently being kept away from other Umbuku because of worries about cross-breeding. Hopefully,  they make more of these in the future. I would like to see them get bigger, to! Then maybe we could have dragons?πŸ‰ Lol, that would be cool. Anyway, i hope you like scales!

Rakk's new wings!

Sometimes, sacrifices pay off. Recently, i acquired a baby dragon with malformed wings. The wings made it hard for him to fly, which he found ok at first, but later caused some problems. The problem was that he could not fly high enough off the ground to escape a dog attack, which resulted in the offending wings being torn off. he was trapped under the bed for 5 days before someone was able to rescue him. I, being artistic, jumped at the chance to make new wings! I took some photos of the finished product, and here they are!

Yeah, you want to make them. I did not think about taking pictures at the time, but i can tell you the process. First, you make the wing frame. To do that, make two obtuse triangles out of wooden skewers without the bottom on them. Then add a third skewer point somewhere around the middle. Once you have that, cut out fabric. you can attach them in any way you want, but i recommend sewing. It is a tad complicated for beginners, but easy to learn. Sorry you had to wait, and anyway, i hope you like fire!

Fungus Fair!

Hi! Recently, i have been to a Fungus Fair!πŸ„πŸ˜Έ  I love mushrooms, so i was very happy! I did some mushroom-related art and ate candy cap ice cream, having fun the whole time. I picked some truly beautiful (and tasty) mushrooms beforehand, and had bluet burgers for dinner that night. I also photographed them, for your convenience:

I also took some pictures of the mushrooms at the fungus fair. These ones are poisonous though, so watch out!😲
I had a lot of fun, but before the day was done i had made some art projects! I sculpted a mushroom sculpture and dyed silk with mushroom dye. here i have the mushroom sculpture:
It is beautiful, don't you agree? I spent a lot of time making it. It also fell apart multiple times, but in the end everything is right. Anyway, i hope you like spores!

Bobble Head Robot!

Hey everyone! I have had a totally chaotic week and did not have much time to make a blog post, so i am sorry if you had to wait. I learned how to make cool tin can robot bobble heads though! I did not document the process, so i can not tell you how to make it.😿  BUT i can show you a video of its head bobbling and what makes it bobble! This will be the first video on this blog, so if it is poor quality i am sorry because i am taking it with an iPhone. So here it is!😸

This is my video. I spent almost 3 hours riveting the cans together. I am not very patient so it was very hard. This might be a short post, but i had fun making it! Sorry for the wait. Anyway, i hope you like rivets!

How To: Make a Bottlecap Toy!

Now as i am sure all of you know, bottle caps have many uses. One of those uses is as a hat on a small toy! A bottlecap can also be used as a hoverboard and a button if your button falls off. To make a small bottlecap toy you need: one bottlecap, one random object to use as a body, two things to use
as arms, and two things to use as legs. Hair and legs are optional.

Step one: Glue the hair to the bottlecap, and then add a body.

Step two: Apply legs and/or arms.

Step three: Add eyes if necessary.

Step four: Make more!

Once you have crafted to your heart's content, you can play with them. They all follow the same basic recipe and are fun to play with. Anyway, i hope you like felt!

Are hoverboards real?!!

I was surfing the web as usual one day, and there i saw it. a real hoverboard!πŸ™€ It was made by Lexus, a car company. I was so amazed at first until i realized, "wait a nano, ThΓ©oden, can that really be real?" So i dug a little deeper until i found out some more about it. First of all, it isn't actually going to be marketed. second of all, it is really hard to control and balance.
It turns out that it is just a prop for a car ad, so you will have to wait another 28 or so years before you can rush down to FutureTech Industries and buy one. Also, other companies are working on hoverboards, but they're not done yet. Keep waiting though, someday they will be here!😸 Anyways, i hope you like circuitry!
